Join us for a night of cinematic celebration as The Harbor Entrepreneur Center presents a special screening of “Open and Closed” – the winner of the 2026 SC 48 Hour Film Project.
Produced by the Holy City Bootleggers, “Open and Closed” was written, filmed, edited, and wrapped on location at The Harbor Entrepreneur Center. The premise of the competition is for the filmmaking teams to take a film write, cast, shoot, edit and submit original works in only 48 hours.
Imagine a chaotic cinematic theme based episode of “24” where Jack Bauer channels the irascible actor and film director Dennis Hopper around the clock on the soundstage. But you know, for two consecutive days.
“Open and Closed” will represent South Carolina and compete against winning films from around the world at Filmapalooza in Curaçao next year for a chance to be screened as part of the project’s showcase at Cannes.
Following the screening, the HCB cast and crew will be on-hand for Q&A. “Lights” Hors d’oeuvres and libations, in additional to traditional movie theater candy will be on set. In addition, The Harbor will be hosting a casting call for any local entertainment entrepreneurs needing administrative or production office space.
