AI Agents for Entrepreneurs

A hands-on AI training class located at the Harbor Entrepreneur Center in Mount Pleasant.

What is this program? AI Agents for Entrepreneurs is a four-course learning path that teaches business owners how to use AI tools and build reliable AI agents for real work — from everyday tasks like drafting and research, to fully automated workflows built from your own standard operating procedures. No technical background required. Cohort starts the week of August 24.

Every entrepreneur is being told they need to “use AI.” Almost none of them have been shown how to actually build with it. This program closes that gap — starting with the basics and moving all the way to designing AI-powered workflows you can run in your business every single day.

You don’t need a technical background. You need a computer, some curiosity, and about four sessions of your time.

Cohort starts the week of August 24.

Why AI Training Matters for Small Business Owners

Do I really need to learn AI to run my business? Not yet — but the founders who learn it now will have a real advantage over the ones who wait. AI tools are quickly becoming table stakes, the way email and spreadsheets did a generation ago. The gap isn’t technical skill; it’s knowing how to give AI the right context, instructions, and guardrails to get reliable results instead of generic ones.

That’s the difference between asking a chatbot a question and building an AI agent that handles a piece of your workflow — research, drafting, reporting, customer follow-up — without you re-explaining it every time.

This program is built to take you from one end of that spectrum to the other.

The Learning Path: 4 Courses, 2 Enrollment Options

Course 1 — AI for Beginners

A practical introduction to AI for non-technical professionals

What will I learn in AI for Beginners? You’ll learn what modern AI actually is, how tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini work, and how to use them for real business tasks — drafting, summarizing, brainstorming, research, and simple creative production like images, video, and audio.

You’ll leave able to:

  • Use an AI chat interface with confidence
  • Get useful, accurate answers through clear prompting
  • Generate images, video, and audio using AI tools
  • See a clear path toward more advanced AI skills

Prerequisites: Basic computer skills (browser, files, copy/paste). A computer is required in class. Investment: $25

Courses 2–4 — Building AI Agents for Entrepreneurs

(3-part series)

What does “Building AI Agents” cover? This three-part series teaches you to move beyond basic AI chat and build AI agents you can actually rely on — covering context, reusable skills, and full workflows built from your own business processes.

Part 1 — Level One: Context & Reverse Prompting. Move from basic chat to agent-led collaboration. You’ll learn Reverse Prompting — a method for interviewing your AI agent to surface requirements, assumptions, and missing context before you ask it to do the work.

Part 2 — Level Two: Skills — Tools, Directions & Reuse. Learn to build “skills” — modular, reusable playbooks that tell your agent exactly how to execute a capability well (research, coding, file management, and more) — so you stop re-explaining the same steps every time.

Part 3 — Level Three: Workflows — From SOP to Reliable Output. Turn a real standard operating procedure into an end-to-end agent workflow — combining context and skills into a process that runs the same way, reliably, every time.

Prerequisites: Familiarity with a chat app (ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini). A computer is required. You’ll receive a free Hyperchat account for use during the series. Investment: $150 (all 3 parts)
